This fountain is a huge controversy in my town. It cost a lot of money to put it in and it wastes water. Honestly when the city first informed us it was being put in I was not keen with the idea. Soon after installing it I became a fan. It is a great attraction for the downtown. As you can see it's a nice free spot for kids to cool off. The people that are still sore over the fountain obviously don't come down and see it for themselves.
